Victorine Originals ~ Challenge #8 ~ PURPLE ~ Tutorial

Good Morning Dreamerz,

Today is the start of Challenge #8 on the Victorine Originals BlogThe theme for this challenge is: "PURPLE".  Here's my inspiration for you using:
Motorcycle
This Challenge I am also including a simple tutorial on how to align a red rubber or as some know them foam backed stamps, using your stamping tool.

Card Recipe:
I used a MISTI stamping tool to complete this project. I first created my background using the torn paper technique to create stencils and used Distress inks and a blending tool on a Neenah 80lb cardstock layer.
~
Tutorial
Step1. REMOVE the black foam pad from your MISTI. Put your background/base layer into your MISTI and lay down a clear laminated grid sheet over the background layer.  NOTE: I am providing a link where you can find the grid sheet, but I made my own using my printer, transparency paper, laminator and laminating sheets/pockets.
Step 2. lay down your stamp in the position you would like it to be, close the lid of your stamping tool to attach stamp then open and lightly ink the stamp.  Close the lid giving a light inked stamp image on the grid paper. If you are happy with the position move to step 3, if not wipe off the grid, re-position the stamp and repeat step 2 until you are happy.
Step #3. Once you are happy with your placement, remove the grid paper, make sure you have magnets on the background layer and stamp away!!

Once I was happy with the placement of the image I removed the laminated grid and stamped the Motorcycle stamp using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink. I then used versamark and clear embossed the image.  Die cut the layer using a KatScrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangles. I used Prismacolor Premier pencils in various greens and browns to add the grass. Attached to a black base and card is ready to send off!!

So, now on to the details of how to play along with the challenge...
