I believe in you..

Good Morning Dreamers,

This morning I bring you a cute card I created for a friend, the image is actually lineart from an artist known as YamPuff you can follow this artist on FB by clicking this link YamPuff FB Page or you can find their lineart and other drawing's via the link in the card recipe listed below the image.
So back to the card.  I have this fab friend named Heather who just has the most gentle soul, she is one of those friends who come along once in a lifetime and you just know you are going to be friends.  I'll admit sometimes I feel like she is a better friend to me than I to her, especially when I get a just because or get well card in the mail from her and she is only lives a few minutes from me. We have this inside joke regarding Unicorns so when I saw this lineart I just knew I had to make a card for Heather. Oh did I mention Heather has purple in her hair also??!! Normally she has pink which is why this unicorn has a pink mane..

Card Recipe:
Lineart from YamPuff ~ Zizzle Zazzle uploaded to Cricut Design Space and done as a print and cut
Colored all in Copic Alcohol markers
Heather letters are from the cut away letters from the card I did earlier this week on my blog Click Me to see  that I just could not part with as the Cricut Explore Air just cut them out perfectly
Card layer with writing also done via Cricut Design Space write function.
Clear and silver Wink of Stella added on mane and tail

Thank you for looking, liking, and commenting on this and all my blog posts, it really means alot to me.

Have a great day Dreamers!!

Happy Bird-Day!!!!

Good Morning Dreamers,

This morning I bring you a cute little Bird-Day Card. I was speaking to Dina the owner of Treasure Box Designs aka TBD and told her that her paper piecings would make the cutest digital images to color. Dina told me she had created a coloring book some time back and sent me a copy of the digital format.  I chose this cute lil bird sitting on a birdhouse and inserted it into my word program to print.  Dina said she is going to give lots of consideration to creating digital stamps of her paper piecings since coloring is so big right now.

Card Recipe:
Digital Image from Treasure Box Designs
Derwent watercolor pencils applied with water brush and Ink Potion #9
Fancy Frame Dies from Craftin Desert Divas
Happy Bird-Day sentiment from Jaded Blossom "Birds of a Feather" set
Wink of Stella in white, and clear
Glossy Accents applied to heart on birdhouse

A huge thank you to Dina at TBD for giving me the opportunity to color this cute image.

If you think it is just as cute and would love to see more digital images made from the Paper Piecing Patterns drop on by the Treasure Box Designs Facebook page and let them know CLICK HERE TO GO!!!

Thank you for liking and looking Dreamers, Have a great day!!!

HOPping by to say HI!!

Good Morning Dreamers,

This morning I bring you a cute card that I whipped up for a friend's birthday.  It is a DIGI from Little Scraps of Heaven and it is called Primitive Bunny, the background is also from them as well. I used word to compile/create the layout then colored the whole thing in Prismacolor pencils.  Once I was finished coloring I then used my Fancy Frame Die from Craftin Desert Divas to die cut the image.  Finished this cute card off with the sentiment from Jaded Blossom Funny Bunny stamp set.

Thank you for looking, liking and commenting..

2 Creative Chicks Showcase #7 ~ The Sky is the Limit

Good Morning Dreamers,
It's time for a new showcase over at 2 Creative Chicks.
Well as the title says "The Sky is the Limit"  I created this fun masculine card because I am always needing "Manly" cards..
Enjoy!!!

I stamped the airplane and then fussy cut it out, die cut the clouds then inked the edges and ran some pale blue chalk across them to give them dimension.  Pop dots on the back of the clouds and the card was complete!!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall....

Good Morning Dreamers...

Today I bring you the lovely The Fairest Of Them All Enchantress. With February being the month of LOVE I think she fits right in with the month.  She is my Design Team submission over at the Lacy Sunshine Blog today. So stop on over and have a look around at all the projects this month.

After coloring her I chose to use my Craftin Desert Divas Dies to cut her with a nice scalloped edge, then after printing the sentiment I used another CDD die to create the banner. The Butterflies die cut from dies from Jaded Blossom, and Spellbinders, the leafy flourishes are also die cut from Spellbinders.

Don't forget while you are over on the Lacy Sunshine Blog to join in on the current challenges.  Come back and let me know if you joined in as I would love to show you a lil Blog Love!!

Mardi Gras Inspiration and a Challenge

Good Morning Dreamers!!

Well as the title says I have some Mardi Gras Inspiration for you to view and enjoy along with a "ANYTHING GOES" Challenge, yes that is right you can submit your project via the link above to the challenge

This month the Lacy Sunshine Creative Design Team was given Mardi Gras as our theme using traditional colors, we also got a bit of extra challenge and had to incorporate a few extra elements into our project, we had to incorporate into our finished project any three of the following:
Fairy Dust(aka Glitter and or Sunshine Sparkles), Rhinestones, Feathers, Flowers, Anything nature like (twigs, moss, mushrooms etc.), Lace, Ribbons, sprays like Sunshine Sprays.
WOW this was my ideal task!! I love Glitter, Nature, and Lace/Ribbon!!

For my project I used Swan Enchantress.  I then created a 3D Base in Cricut Design Space and cut on my Cricut Explore to bring in the Nature Element (if you look closely you will see twigs, mushrooms, flowers, and a bird), To bring in the glitter element I painted glue on each layer after it was colored then sprinkled some Cloud 9 glitter on top, her hair has silver stickles run through, and her lil green tutu is edged in green stickles. Since it would not be Mardi Gras without Fleur de Lis pattern associated I die cut some in different patterned papers and affixed to the top of frame with foam pop dots.  To finish her off I attached pretty ribbon to the back to make a hanger and then affixed a jewelled ribbon and lace rosette to a sturdy tack to use to hang her up.
~
My Recipe Card for the coloring of the Enchantress only is as follows:

I do hope to see you join in on the Anything Goes Blog Challenge, and if you do please come back here and let me know you did, I would love to show you some Blog Love

Month of Love and Early Spring

Good Morning Dreamers,

Well it is February 2nd and Officially the month of LOVE or as some like to call it "Singles Awareness Month" Today is also Groundhog Day: Punxsutawney Phil Did Not See His Shadow, which means Spring is supposed to arrive 6 weeks early which is all fine in my book as I am not a Winter person at all.

Today I bring you a cute little card using one of my favorite stamp sets (sadly it is now retired) and some of my favorite dies that I seem to be using almost daily.

Card Recipe:
VooDoo you Love stamp set from Stamp Annie Thing, stamped in pale red dye ink on a scallop circle die then water colored with Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils and blended with a brush pen filled with Ink Potion #9.  Pilot V5 black pen used to make stitch marks on doll.
Heart Stamped background is actually a die negative (STENCIL) that I used sponge daubers and fuscia chalk inks to stamp.  All dies used are from Craftin Desert Divas and I used the following die sets

Fancy Frame Dies, Heart Of Heart Dies (to make the stencil), Stitched In Circle Dies.  Finished this cutie off with some rhinestones and she is all ready to be mailed off..

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment on my card today.

Keep
Calm
