SumMoreFun ~ Challenge #32

Good Morning Dreamerz!!

Today is the start of a new Mood Board Challenge over on the
SumMoreFun Designs Blog.

Here's my inspiration for you using the Rainsin Boat stamp set

Strokes of Pride

For today's post I wanted to share a card that was CAS.  The Strokes of Pride stamp set makes this super easy to do.

Card Recipe:
I stamped the star stamp a few times on a piece of Neenah Desert Storm 100lb cardstock using Memento Dew Drop ink in the color Lady Bug and Clear Versafine then used Clear and White embossing powder and heat set.  The sentiment was stamped using Versafine embossing pad and Blue Glitter embossing powder applied and heat set. The Brush Stroke stamp from the set was added along with the drawn on strings-bows-nails to give the stars the appearance of a hanging banner of sorts

With all the stamping ready to go next up was assembly of the card. I had a piece of striped paper that perfectly went with the Mood Board and cut it down to A2 size and used Tombow Extreme to affix to the front of an A2 sized top folding piece of Neenah Desert Storm 100lb cardstock. Next up I cut down my stamped and embossed layer to 5.5 x 4.0 inches and affixed it to the top of the patterned paper.
