Simple Orchids

Good Morning Dreamerz..

This morning I wanted to share with you all a very pretty all occasion card.  I am trying to get my "Card Stash" back up as I am always needing a card for one occasion or another.  This card is still following in the footsteps of my previous postings on using minimal amounts of color to create a card or project.
I really like the way this one turned out.  The picture does not do it justice!

Card Recipe
Digital stamp from Tiddly Inks (BTW this is free go grab it now!!) colored with a soft copic marker in a lavender shade.  Stems, leaves and pot colored in various shades of grey copic markers. once I was happy with the coloring I used my Fancy Frames Die to cut the layer.  Now this may not show up unless you actually click the image to get a close up of it, but take a look at the stitching on the layer.  It appears as if truly punched through to the black layer below right? Yet this is not the case, I took a black copic marker and on the backside I just went over the stitched edge.  I think it adds a nice extra touch.
Black Woodgrain cardstock from American Crafts die cut using My Favorite Things Stitched Wonky Die, wrapped in purple and white bakers twine I picked up from the dollar bin at my local Target.
Orchid layer adhered to top with foam pop dots and then finished off with a thin layer of Gloss Accents applied to just the Orchids to add a bit of sheen to them.

Thanks for looking, liking and commenting Dreamers..
Have a great day!!!
