Good Morning Dreamerz,
Today is my Design Team project for the Cutting Cafe and our Theme this time was "Pinwheels" How fun right?! The Cutting Cafe has many Pinwheel cards to choose from and even a treat cup pinwheel set where you can add candy, money, or make into a fun shaker card, I will post links to these sets at the end of my post.
Today I am bringing you a card that can be used for either a male or female but I am saving it for a male as finding a good masculine card is a hard task.
Card Recipe:
For the Pinwheel Embellishment I took a very thin piece of cardstock 60lb and used distress inks all over the front and back trying to use the same color family as the hero arts ink pad colors as my guide, once I was happy I heat set the ink and then applied thin strips of silver washi tape to the front and back of the card stock. I uploaded the SVG From The Cutting Cafe to Cricut Design Space and cut 3 pinwheels, I will be using the other 2 on future cards. You can grab some super cute Pinwheel card patterns right here:The Cutting Cafe
For the base layer I stamped a piece of Neenah Solar Crest all over using a new stamps set from Jaded Blossom called Origami Fun using Hero Arts Ombre Ink pads in Mermaid and Lime to Forever Green turning the stamp as I went so the ink was hopefully never the same color on the cardstock. The Sentiment is also from Jaded Blossom and is from the set So Many Birthdays 3 lastly for the card base I die cut it using the Nested Rope Dies from Kat Scrappiness and added Nuvo Glitter Drops in Silver Moon Dust to the centers of the pinwheels.
I do hope you will pop over to The Cutting Cafe Blog and see what the rest of the Design Team has created with Pinwheels.
Until Next time Dreamerz,
Have a Great Day,
MaryAnn
